Anyone recommend a good Diagnostic tool?

I'm looking for a good diag tool (not neccesarily for programming), but to get inside the ECM and other CPU's to actually view the numbers, not just the DTC's.
Example, I'd like to view actual voltage levels of the O2 sensores, probably even the analog voltage of the steering sensor, and other analog voltages of various sensors...
Anyone recommend a good / inexpensive one?

I use auto engunity, work fine for looking at sensors and clearing codes etc. Can be found on the bay of E

I use an Innova/Equus in my daily driver + other cars. At a little over $100, it's a good tool to have in any toolbox.

For the C5, I use the Predator.
