Thanks, I saw the very detailed instructions on how to install one. I'm too scared to take my dash apart like that for fear I'll never get it back right. But, the way I'm going, I may have to do that if I want to get this done.
Thanks, I've seen them and am too scared to disassemble my car like that. But, if I want to get it done I might have too. Incidentally, I saw you are a proud Vietnam Vet. From a former Marine-thanks for your service. There are those who truly appreciate it.
Did the install on my car myself - not hard at all. I may be moving to your neck of the woods soon - if I indeed do move to SoCal (Loma Linda) I would be glad to install it for you. Do you have all the parts you need?

Relax---It's not that hard to do. If you can turn a screw driver and socket wrench, you can do the install. It's not hard to do at all. Did the install myself 18 mos. ago. Turned out great. Good luck to you.
I just put mine in the day before Thanksgiving. The hardest part was turning the first screw or maybe it was cutting the hole in the dash pad! I worried about it for a about a month and then did it. It wasn't that bad, in fact, it was pretty easy. Look at all the instructions you can find. read them start to finish several times and then just put your Nikes on and DO IT! There is no mystery to it, it is surprisingly well engineered. It took me and my brother-in-law maybe 5 hours including gluing aluminum rings around the bezels in the instrument cluster. Oh, by the way, it is well worth it!! Dave

As another member said, if you post this in the Pacific section along with what city you are in I am sure that you will get several responces with assistance.
I would be glad to help if you are local to me. I am in the North Orange County area.
Anyone know anyone doing hud installs at a reasonable price (for 2004 coupe) in southern CA (San Diego or Los Angeles areas)?
I'd do it for a resonable price if I was on the west coast, it isn't very hard if you are mechanically inclined, like said above
