Default California Car Cover Company stiffed me

California Car Covers is a company I will never do business with again. A few years ago I ordered 2 sets of seat covers from them for about $300. The first set came within a week and looked and fit great. A week later still no second set. I called them and they told me they were on back order and I would have them within 2 weeks. Two weeks later still no covers, so I called them again. Still on back order and I would have them in 2 weeks. Each time I wrote the date & time down and name of the individual I spoke with and each time the previous person was no longer there or not available. Finally after few more run a rounds I asked to have my money refunded and I would order them in the future. No problem, we’ll credit your card.

Two more weeks with no refund, I called again and this time they said... we’ve already refunded your money… no they did not. I talked to a couple of different people and always the same thing. I contacted my credit card company and they looked into it, but since it had been longer than the allotted time to dispute a claim they could do nothing.

California Car Cover Company stiffed me for $150 and I will never trust them again. I think they carry some excellent products and I would still be buying from them except for this. I had ordered hundreds of dollars in products from them before, but never again. Be very very careful in dealing with them and I would urge you to never let them go more than a coupe of weeks before demanding your money back, even if you choose to reorder later.

Good luck… GUSTO
