Help Wheel Chrome Eroding

Help Wheel Chrome Eroding
Left front tire had slow leak went in to check it out and found the Chrome is corroded on the inner lip. Looks like some yahoo in the past did a hammer on balancing clip and chipped the Chrome ( I bought the car in June 05)
Course the tire guy did a temp seal job and is giving me dire predictions and a sales slip for some 18 and 19 inch C6 rims. I'd love them but it will be a hard sell to the wife to get 4 new rims and tires at a tune of $3200.00 at Christmas time.
I kinda think her and the 6 kids will want something other than cool wheels for Dads Vette.

Cost -
Go to Ebay and put in C5 wheels or tires. You can get a whole new set of rims and tires C5 to ZO6 for $1200 to $1500. Look for AFS store or O E Wheel Dist. Store. They also sell just sets of rims for under $500!!! They are all Repo's
Call them if you only want one wheel, would probably sell it to you.......also corvettes of huston will also.
Check C5 parts for sale here.....usually have some rims there too.

Those guys will try to sell you the most expensive thing they have...
Give Bob's House of Wheels a call...they have some good deals on chrome wheels. Got myself a set a few months ago and love 'em.

I agree, you can get some very good deals on reproduction wheels right now. And if you only need one, that can be done also.
