This is the answer to the horrible road noise in your Corvette. This is perfect for you stereo enthusiasts as well. I have this kit in my 2004 Corvette Coupe, my 1992 Dodge Diesel Truck that has 4,000 watts of Fosgate power in it, my 1972 AMC Javelin race car, that has 800 horsepower worth of alcohol injected small block Chevy power under the hood and 4" straight through Borla Mufflers, my 1971 SP 454 GMC Sprint and my 1961 Impala SS 409 car. The interior noise has been reduced by over 50% in every one of these cars and the interior temperature has been dramatically reduced. When you close the doors in any one of these cars, it sounds like my wifes 540i BMW. Solid as a rock. This is the finest quality sound deadening material on the market. It is a pressure sensitive, highly dampened, elastomeric constrained layer, vibration damping, material. Simply put it is a flexible peel and stick sheet that can be applied to a variety of surfaces to reduce structure borne vibration and noise. The damping material is covered with a thin aluminum foil constaining layer that dramatically improves performance and heat control, while providing a paintable, finished surface.
This material is the same material that you will find in a great deal of the multi million dollar yachts that are sold each year. Since this material is specified on some of the most expensive "Fiberglass" yachts in the world that have 3600 horsepower worth of Caterpillar Turbo Diesels trying to shake your teeth out, I am confident your car will sound like a million bucks too.
This kit comes with 20 Sheets of this material in 13 inch by 28 inch sections. This is 50.60 square feet of material. It is enough to do almost any car trunk and floor. The Vette takes more material than a flat trunk car due to the many storage compartments in the back area. Until now the Dynamat Xtreme was the best product out there, but it was too expensive for the average person. Here is the solution to that problem.
