Default what's next?

I've got an 01 with a head/cam package, headers, and vararam intake. What should my next mod be for overall performance?

I imagine you have had it dyno tuned, because it wouldn't be drivable. I would throw in a set of 36# injectors @ 58psi. If you want to save some cash, throw in 30# SVO's @ 43.5psi. = to a 36#. Get a quick retune.

Some people say 4.10's would be next, but others on here disagree. Is there nothing else little i can do to the engine?

Hey brother I am in the same boat as you. Big ? is what do you do wiht it? Do you drag race? If so, you must upgrade the clutch and rear end (DTE Brace, shafts 390s???). You could go with a fast 90 and LS3 or NW TB too. Same $ in pasrt rear end vs intake, but IMO the 390s or 410s would get you more gain at the track and SOTP, plus, the piece of mind to enjoy your new HP.

IMO the OEM injectors are good to about 450 RWHP. I have been told the sotcks are good up top that point and you must see the duration of them and as long as you are less than 110% you are ok. Mine are @ 102 right now and all is well.

I think $ for $ a rear end gear swap would be your best bang for buck addition at this point. Although they are probably the cherry on the top for a stock CI NA powerplant, those intakes and t/b can get very expensive for what you gain. A set of 3.90s or 4.10s will really get your attention and most certainly lower your 60ft ability (if you drag race) by leaps and bounds.

If money isn't an object, get both

A pully is a PIA unless you are there for a cam swap, hey that's an idea! Put a bigger cam in it! Pulley is a little maybe 5 or 8 who knows? Most of us do a pulley with cam swap. They say fast 90 and 90tb are a bit much for a 346, but add HC you might get 15 or 20? I am in the same boat as you and have been looking at intakes for months and I just need to buy one one of thse days.

BLUFF intake and puley will get you close to 450RWHP. IF you want to stay little, IMO that is a good route. If yuo want to drop some $, clutch and build rear end, same time as the rear comes out anyways for the clutch swap (aussies is awesome and the LS7 is doing realy well too)
