Default Dyno'd The Z

2004 Z06 23,000 on the clock BONE STOCK down to the paper filter dyno'd 362RWHP, 360RWTQ (dynojet) and the AFR was really fat, like 11:1 from 5000-6400. I will post the graph soon.

I just put the vararam on and am gonna go back to the dyno soon and then scale the fuel table to 13 and maybe add a little timing and post results.

Any predictions on the gain from the VRAM B2?

How are my numbers for a bone stock Z? I am pretty happy.

I have the Vararam2B also, but when I dynoed before and after, I barely saw any gains. It definately works at high speeds as you can feel it, but the dyno is hard to replicate the "ram air" effect since the car is stationary and the big fan in front hardly comes close to real world situations.....

I threw on the Vararam Widemouth and gained 10rwhp and 10rwt. I am at the end of how much air I can flow through my stock LS6 heads with my current I/E .606" and .608" of lift. After my 1.8 ratio roller rocker install, I was running slightly lean. Even with tuning back to 13.1:1 A/F my old intake system just couldn't flow anymore air with the car on the dyno with the shop fan running. The dyno initially showed no improvement. I have removed the black plastic shroud in front of the condenser, all my air comes in from the front screens and mostly under the nose. (bottom feeder) The old intake opening didn't face the incoming air. I purchased and installed the Vararam Widemouth with its face right in the incoming airstream which got me some additional airflow through the heads while sitting on the dyno. Being the type of intake it is (a bellmouth opening) and the incoming air arrangement solved my airflow problem and got me some additional power. I'm in the market for some heads as you can imagine.

Well I have some interesting data to present...

keep in mind I am on the Eagle F1's and I am not heating them up, I am basically not even reving barely at all off the line, simply bogging from 1000rpm

On my GTech meter I showed 5.1 0-60 when the car was BONE STOCK

Tonight I ran twice and got 4.8, still bogging off the line. Only difference is the VRam I think it is working
