I'd like to get opinions on front license plate and rear lettering sets. Which looks better: the plain flat letters or the raised/domed letters. I've not seen either in person.
I really like the look of these - they are like gems - they have a silver reflective backing that makes them sparkle- (not refletors, just reflective...)
I had trouble with the adhesive, though - so I used clear silicone to adhere them to the car, and that worked like a charm.
They are by far the best looking letters out there - having looked at several different kinds of letters on cars at shows etc.
Of course that is purely objective - what looks good to me might not look good to you.
Flat all the way If you ever go to a car show and your emblems protrudes out further than the cavity that it's in. You get points deducted for that ( Looks kind of tacky and home made )
Go with the flat Stainless Steel and if you need to paint them. I tried 3 different sets before I went with the SS
