Default 2002 oil pan leak?

A 2002 c5 I'm looking at, about 28k miles, had the oil pan and oil pan gasket replaced under warranty. Owner said there was a oil leak that is common for 02's? Is this common?

'The dealer said the 2002 Vette's had a problem with the oil pan. A new design was developed and the dealer installed the new style pan. While he had the pan off, he changed the rear seal for good measure.'

I've got an 02 with 26k miles and have no leak what so ever. This is the first I've heard of this.

Like the post above, this is really the first time I have heard about any oil pan issues on the '02, but any car can have a problem like this. If it has been fixed then it should be OK. Just have it checked out.

First I've heard of Oil Pan Leaks, but if it has been fixed, should be no problems. IMHO

I have 30,500 on my 02, and not a sign of problems yet.

I had the gasket replaced on my 03 while it was still under factory warrenty. It was right after I bought the car in Feb of this year. The previous owner had barely driven it. Only had around 8000 miles on it at the time.
