Default Halltech stinger or Blackwing?

I don't want to mess with the Vararam but I want to add one of the above two. Stock 01 z06. If you could pick up a Blackwing for $225 shipped or a Stinger for $235 shipped which would you choose? Thanks in advance

I think if I were going to do the black wing, I would just save the money and do the zip tie mod, best bang for the buck IMO

Given the choices you have listed, I would choose the Halltech. The reason is simple...with the Blackwing you get a filter only...a great filter, but only a filter. With the Halltech for virtually the same money, you get a great filter and an airbridge as well. The Halltech airbridge allows for more air flow and more efficiency of airflow.

I had the Halltech on my car for a few weeks and liked it, but due to the ridiculously tight smog laws we have here in CA I decided to go with a K&N filter and a modified stock air box.

Just an alternative to consider...good luck with your decision!

just as scott listed.. there are no comparison... why would you just buy a filter when you can have the whole upgraded intake system for 10$ more?? its a no brainer.. i just installed my stinger and i love it looks great in red to match my plastic inthe engine bay

For the price I'd get the Stinger. I have a Vortex Rammer here... it's my favorite intake. Buy you can't argue with the ease of install on the Stinger or BW.

I would go stinger. I have a vararam and if I did it again I would go that way in a second.
