In my experience the GY F-1 Supercar tires are a superior dry and warm weather tire. Below 40 Degrees they are useless on a Z06. My drive train is stock at this time, and I can spin them in first and second gear at will anytime the temps are below 40 just by hitting the loud pedal. The same goes for snow, the tires have only very small sipes and do not grab the snow allowing traction. Warm dry weather = superb, anything else use caution or best to keep the car parked.
i drive sc's in the rain all the time in swfla. we get lots of that down here in the summer. just don't try to drive it like its dry out. they're not that bad in the rain.
down here when the suns cooking the asphalt and bringing the oils to the surface combined with sand and dirt its very slippery when it first rains. extra caution needed during this period. after all the junk gets washed off traction is pretty good even with the sc's. lots of accidents down here when it first rains due to most americans can't drive worth a s**t because they don't have a clue. i'm not talking about most vette drivers as most people that buy them are real drivers that have good car control.
