its not made by bend-pak.. it is made oversea's and is a copy of the american lifts by gemini and other american companies..
I had considered getting it but after talking to the seller, i was told the steel is 33% thinner then the american versions, it has non galvanized cables, and a cheaper hydraulic pump. Steel overseas is measured in metric and the ramps are only 6mm where the Gemini etc are 3/16... I have seen photos of the main ramps warping over time..
not to rain on your parade
good luck
Help me figure this one out, THe weight of the Bend-Pak HD 9 four post lift is 1450 lbs. My Superlifts SJ 7000 is 1700 lbs, how can it have 33% less, or thinner steel?
I have been wanting a lift for a long time. What do you guys think about the kwiklifts ? http://www.kwiklift.com/
The Kwiklift is an awesome little lift and shouldn't be under estimated. It is great, a simple concept and very well built. It is extremely easy to set up and break down. It is a one person job to put together in about 30 minutes in 98* weather. Down side: unless you are really, really short (less than 2') you can't walk under it.
today, I just purchased a four post USA version of VRROOM's lift from Tony at Superlifts.com. Not to replace the Kwiklift, to add to the garage. Four Vettes, three car garage = new lift.
I can't wait to get it! I opt for the US version for two simple reasons: I liked the lifetime warranty on everything and the choice of powder coated colors (though I chose red).

I hope it fits...
AWESOME Mickbee!! One of the reasons I considered the USA version was to get Yellow... but the red is a nice match... It was a tough decision to pass on the USA model for me... but I'm happy!
Tony is such a great guy to deal with, huh? He doesn't knock other people's lifts or anything, he just gives you the fact about his... I pm'd Finallygot1 detailed instructions on what to do to put it together... Little things the guys from Tony's place told me when they delivered mine... I'll send it if you want, no biggie...

My lift was 1650lbs.... Interesting. Like I said, on my directions and stamped on the motor said Bend-Pak. They might make the lift and the distributor might put their own labels on them. Bottom line for me is this lift is awesome. I will be pulling out my transmission on my 65 Mustang this weekend and I can't wait to use the lift. I would like to thank everyone for the pros and cons on various lifts, either way I still got a good quality lift at a great price. If any Forum members in the Phoenix area buys one, feel free to get in touch with me for help on the install. I work for Pizza and beer. Cheers. -Ed
How do you get them off the delivery truck? Do you have a fork lift or what?
I had mine shipped to a friend's business, that has a fork truck. His fork truck is small and the parking lot was wet, it was not fun. We lifted one end and slid it almost all the way out of the truck, then backed a 1 ton dump under it and sat it on the tailgate. He then was able to lift it in the middle and work it into the bed of the dump.
Actually unloading was easy. Raised the dump, slowly, until it started to slide, when it touched the floor he pulled the truck forward until the other end was on the tailgate. Then we lifted it of the tailgate with a floor jack and a few blocks, he pulled the truck the rest of the way out. We sat it on jack stands and finally on dolleys to move it around. The car dolleys are a big help I would not put it on the dolley when it is coming of the truck, I think it would get away from you.
Lastly, the dolleys are great for getting the runways in position between the uprights. A buddy of mine and myself installed them, but you really should have 3-4 adults.
Will attept to post pics soon.
I had mine shipped to a local terminal. I then borrowed a friends car trailer. The terminal loaded it on to the car trailer. When I arrived home, I unbolted the until from shipping plates, I carried the posts and support bars into the garage, then with the help of a friend, lifted 1 end of the ramp slid a piece of pvc pipe under it the slid another piece under the middle and rolled it off the trailer and into the garage. Once everything was in the garage I placed the posts into position, bolted the crossbars to the posts and rolled the ramps into place. No heavy lifting, saved the back . Had it up and running in 4 hours tops.
My lift is a 4 post revolution lift. Purchased it from forum sponsor Barry from X-autoproducts. Great person to deal with and a great lift.
I had a flat bed tow truck pick up the lift at the freight terminal, and then he just tilted the lift off of the bed and left it in the driveway. Cost $80 but well worth it, since it was hassle-free.

I had it shipped to the local Yellow Freight Terminal and they loaded it onto my 15' trailer. I used an engine hoist to lift it off of my trailer. Worked out great. –Ed
