and if I were to get them I would probably get 14" for the rear since I want 18/19" wheel combo I would think stock size would look to small. Soooooo that leads me to question 2 what about the calipers, I think it would look funny with small calipers and large rotors. What's a good replacement for calipers?
I went with the larger ones in the rear because I think the stock size is very whimpy looking. It looks fine with the stock caliper because the hat of the rotor is larger than the front one so you dont have a small caliper on a giant rotor. All you have to do is relocate the caliper, witch im told gives you more leverage witch equals better braking.
Lighter, and depending on how they are assembled, more free to expand/contract without distortion. High quality two piece rotors will have a slightly elongated (in the radial direction) mounting hole to allow for radial expansion due to heat independent of the hat.
With a one piece, there is a potential for more distortion due to an integral connection with the hat.

It supplies you with slightly higher brake torque, since the force is applied further from the point of rotation. "Better" braking depends on alot of aspects.
What it will do is increase your rearward bias unless you make a similar increase in the front rotor size.
This may equal shorter stopping distances if the traction of the front tires are the limiting factor before hitting abs. This would depend on tires, suspension and brake pad compound.
after the install of the larger rear rotors it seemed that their was more brake dust on the rear wheels then the front for a change. And has anyone weigh the stock rotors compared to the eradispeeds?
