Default IPOD Holders or Mounting

I did a search and didn't find much on the topic of IPOD holders, or mounting. I found quite a bit on wiring them, but very little on mounting. I'm curious if any of you have found a simple, but clever way, and place to mount these units ... rather than just setting it in my cup holder. If you have pictures, please post or email them. I'm sure somebody on the forum came up with something good.
Thanks,
Richard

I just use the "cupholder" to hold my iPod; this way my iPod stays within easy reach and I can easily disconnect it, stash it in the glove box, and close the lid for total stealth.

However, the absolute best mouting device for the iPod that I have seen is one made by ProClipUSA.com (item #852659):

Many thanks Larry, I'll order one in the morning It looks like you could still do all the above mentioned with this mount
Thanks again,
Richard

I just keep the ipod on my lap. This way I can always select different songs/artists. Didn't want the holder anywhere in my interior--I think it would not look good . Also, when I get out of the car, I just put the ipod under the seat to hide it.

Richard, you're welcome!

Please post some pics of your install once you get it in place. I'm still contempting this...

Like DallasC5 mentioned, I'm not too keen on the idea of a mount either (mainly because it leaves a tell-tale sign of a "mod" which might be tempting to prying eyes). But maybe not...

I just ordered one Larry. I'll post pictures as soon as I receive and install it. Thanks again, that's even better than what I was looking for. I like the fact that it's a swivel mount

Larry does know his stuff on these Thanks Larry, I just ordered the IPOD mount yesterday, and already (somehow) received today. It's perfect! It clips right in place and holds on very well. I didn't even use the adhesive strip thats provided, it just don't seem to need it. The IPOD Holder and Mount came to just over $70.00 shipped but seems well worth the money. The swivel works great and you can adjust the tension to make it as snug as you want. Look fine IMO as well
Thanks again Larry, this was a perfect find!!!
