That has to be tough. That car had 5x more in it than any other I have seen.
Merry Christmas anyway--

You even left it with the "for sale" stickers at the top of the windshield. It is always sad to see one go, but it makes someone else's day.

Wow Jim, I know you've talked about it for a while but I guess I never expected it. Good Vette hunting!

Jim and Heather - say it isn't so!!

I know she found a perfect new home otherwise you never would have sold it! Time to start thinking about the C6 after the hot rod and truck are done!

Congrats and Happy Holidays!!

Merry Christmas to you as well my friend

Here are a few pics of the street rod from last night.
Should have the frame in paint on Saturday or Sunday if I can get my lazy butt off the couch

I knkow it does not look like much now but it is a ton of fun to build from the ground up and it should turn out great.

Jim,

Congrats on the sale. I will miss seeing it. Sorry that we never got together while you still owned so I could have seen it in person. Always was my favorite.

Merry, merry,
Vinny

Jim & Heather - it was a beautiful car and you both did a great job with it but it was just a car and another will come along for you. You already expressed the more important aspects of having the car, the people you met, friends and memories you made!

And the best part for me is since the new owners live farther away now my chances for an award at one of the shows just got a little better LOL

Stay well!

Chuck

Wow... she's gone to a new home. No worries, Hot Rods are great fun too. It was fun to watch the car evolve over the years.

Sad to hear, but glad you found a good home for her Jim!

I would have loved to buy it - if I could have afforded it!!! Of course you would have killed me when I did a 100 yrd burnout out of your driveway!!!!

Good luck with the Rod... I have one on my list of must have's - maybe when you are done with it ....
