Oil Pressure Question
The oil pressure guage on my 2000 is pegged to the right at max pressure. The guage info is telling me that the pressure is 130 pounds. I have had the sudden gas guage drop that others have had and I am wondering if this might be the same type of problem. In other words, electrical problems. The car is running fine.
I seem to remember seeing this problem sometime back but since the problem didn't relate to me at the time, I skipped it. Any help would be appreciated.
BTW: 70-75 degrees in Ft. Worth today. Top off - life is good.

You probably have a bad oil pressure sensor. The repair is relatively simple, but the intake needs to meved out of the way to access it.

Yep, sounds like the oil pressure sensor is going bad. Not an uncommon problem.
