Steering wheel question
I currently own a MK4 Supra Turbo. Thinking of possibly selling it and getting a Z06 in the Spring. I'm test driving a 01 Z06 on Monday.
I have sat in a few before. The one thing I really don't like about them is the interior. It's not awful, but certainly not up to par with the rest of the car IMO.
One thing I was curious about, is the C6 Z06 steering wheel bolt on with C5 Z06? That's an attractive steering wheel. I didn't care for the steering wheel in my Supra either, so I got a 2002 Celica steering wheel to replace it and it looks great.
Aftermarket wheels would work, but I'd like to keep the airbag. I thiink that, plus some nice aftermarket leather Sparcos, would really make for a beautiful interior.
Is it possible?

Ah, I see that one of my SupraForums comrads has already posted the same message.
But there seems to be no clear answer?
The only thing I could see as being a problem is the airbag connector. In my Supra, I was able to buy an adapter to fit the newer airbag.

Go to www.vetteessentials.com and look at some of the upgrades you can do to a C5 interior. A few interior dress-up items combined with the pleasure of driving your new Z06, and you soon will be loving your car's inside as you will not be able to stand not driving it.
