Right side will not go down, I have slapped, kicked, slammed it. Now what short of replacing the motor is there anything else?

do the switches light up? What about the power door locks?

Could be a number of things, if there's other issues also related.

There is juice going to the motor, I can hear the relay click.

Same thing happened to mine. Had to have the motor (or a part of it) replaced at a whopping 400.00.

Sounds like you need a new actuator. You may be able to find the parts at Eckler's or similar catalog outlets, DIY and save a bundle.

It may also be just a simple burned relay contact. I saw this discussed in a previous post with pictures, so do a search and it should pop up. (not the window) Good luck.

Good point, I hear the relay clicking but that doesn't necessarily mean it is making contact. I'll need to make sure power is getting to the motor. BRB

Try slamming the door with the switch pressed at the same time. If that does not work remove the door panel and strike the back of the window regulator motor with the handle end of a screwdriver while holding down the button. Works for me ! Make sure the switch contacts are clean and seated.

Hey RBH... I'm in Sugar Land too..... New Territory.

I tried the door slamming and no worky.....

Sounds like relay is clicking up or down.... but no motor worky.

I'll tear apart the psgr door panel tomorrow.

Fun with cars.......

This is a common problem for the C5's. And, I have posted several solutionary responses to this dilemma myself, and, so have many other members for that matter. Basically, the power window motor is part of an entire unit called the power window motor assembly unit which includes the cables, and, the power motor, itself. The cables are a flimsy design which often misalign causing the power motor to jam.

The entire unit can cost well over $325. Unfortunately, the power motors are not available separately. Now, provided your door panel switch, AND, your power window modulator are not faulty (do a diagnostics and check for codes), the lack of function is caused by the power window motor jamming. Of course, you can certainly call any of the supporting vendors (Fichtner, Beans, etc.), and, purchase a brand new replacement assembly unit. However, you would save yourself some money by calling up Gene at the Karshop to purchase a used power window motor assembly unit.

Lastly, it sounds as if your modulator and switch are working, BUT, the motor is jamming. Therefore, try hitting the area of the door handle (power motor lies just beneath this area) with several sharp blows. The concussive impact should dislodge the power window motor. Frankly, I find that this method works better than holding the power window motor button down while slamming the door. Do realize that this is merely a temporary fix. And, you may eventually have to replace the power window motor assembly unit down along the line. Good luck.
