Same here. I have many Craftsman tools which are great but, the torque wrenches are all Snap-on.

I used to be on the Harbor Frieght wagon....
...until I bought two in a row that broke within a day.
After using cheapies for so long I bought a new "Husky". It is great and guaranteed FOR LIFE (unlike the sears ratchets)...

I have the same one as well as the 1/2 inch. I've used both quite a bit and I've been pleased. The in. lbs. torque wrench cost me $65 at Sears.

Torque wrench, we don't need no stupid wrenches. Just keep turning til the elbow clicks.
Only kidding. They aren't cheap. I borrow a neighbors. It's digital and right on.

What ever you do don't get one that has a plastic handle/collar.
Its not worth the money you save on the intial purchase. My old man is a helo mech for the local hospital, one of the other mechs their has a $700 torque wrench... but damn is it nice. Thing is, that one wasn't even the very top of the line model either...

I have a 1/2 & 3/8 craftsman and they are great! Do not go cheap, I threw away one from Harbor frieght, horrible quality and way off! This is one item that "you really get, what you pay for."

I had a 1/2" Craftsman TQ wrench and when it wore out, I took it back for a replacement. They gave me a rebuild kit that didnt work. When I asked about the replacement policy they have.. they said "we dont do that with this torque wrench because we dont make it" "if your rebuild parts dont work, you are SOL"
