Default GM Speedline wheels.

I like the weight and look of the chrome speedline wheels that came on my car but I also want to run 18s up front.

Is there any speedline 18" wheel in a 9.5 width for the fronts?
What other options do I have?
I would like to keep the front wheels as light as the rears so repos would be out of the question.

Thanks in advance

Talk to NAte at the corvette garage - I ordered a set of chrome repro wheels that are within a couple pounds of the speedline wheels and also done with a pressure casting process. The actual company is in california - there is a difference in where the wheels are made. The cheaper versions tend to come from overseas and use gravity casting vs pressure casting which would not be as strong.

Speedlines are not offered in 18x9.5s, only stock Z06 sizes.
But, we have exceptional quality reproductions in the size you need if interested.
Thank you,

Nate

I think you could have stock rears narrowed. I am taking a set of 18" rear speedlines and having them widened (for 345's), and going to see if I can get the front speedlines narrowed for skinnys.

Let us know how it goes. I'm curious about this as well. I was considering the Z07 wheels from Corvette garage in 18X9.5 and 18X11. Hey Nate. How much do those wheels weigh? and why is the offset different from the 18X11 vs. the 19X11? What is the offset of my stock speedline wheels on my 02 Z, front and rear? I don't want the rear wheels to stick out any fromthe wheel well. Thanks

I would like to know also.
What are the weight of the 18 x 9.5 chromes with offsets for the front?
Will they match the speedline finish (as far as color goes)?

I was under the impression that you could run the rear wheels up front with 275's or 285's?

Sorry, Im at home and not at the shop, so Im not sure of the exact weights of the Z07s, but they are heavier than GM Speedlines. Z07's are great looking wheel, but if looking for a light weight racing wheel, stick with GM's.

The Z07 offset on the 18x11 is 53mm. The stock offset of the 18x10.5 GM Z06 wheel is 56mm I believe. The extra .5in is why there is a difference in the offset.

275's can be run on 18x9.5, but we like the look of the 265's on the front with 295's on the rear.

Thanks,

Nate
