Default howd i do? (z16 purchase)

just purchased over the phone a z06 comm. it has 1200 miles, 1 owner, im gonna pay 39,400.

never thought they would do it. i found it at a dealer on autotrader with an asking price of 45k something.

it may be a little on the high side, but a 1200 mile z16 is a bit of a rarity i dont mind paying a little more for.

im pumped, gonna pick it up on monday.

sounds good to me with the low milage. a dealer near me wants 37,500 and auto has 23k miles. enjoy the ride.

Providing the 1200 miles were not 1/4 mile at a time you did EXCELLENT. Good luck with it.

There's one near me for $37,500 but 6500 mi. 1200 mi isn't much. You might have gotten the price lower, but it's time now to enjoy. Make sure it has been serviced recently or do it. Too many think garage queens do not need maintenance. Ditto waxing & interior care. Be careful about mods. Many won't improve what you have. You may want to shop around for an extended warranty. Good luck.

Congrats! My brother-in-law in Atlanta is finalizing a deal on a 500 mile Z16 for $38,700K from a private party out the door so yours is right on the money.

IMHO, you did awesome! The true test; do you have any regrets? Not many with that low of miles... thougth there are a couple with less!

Congrats and enjoy! It is a great car and the color and stripes are unreal!!!

really a problem, that low mileage
you just bought a fantastic car
Mine's an 02 (bought 04) I put a solid white CE (same stripe as yours)on my quick silver. I love it. I'm still stock (ok, air intake and ignition work and tuner program and really like this way. These are way
quick, with not a whole of mods.

You want to change all fluids I changed my fluids and my tranny really
shifts nicer. Maybe still factory oil in it. You want to change that too.

thanks for the kind words guys. i have been looking for about a month or so. started out looking to buy an 02 and just kind of kept working my way up. (some how i always do that. haha.)

i will post up some pics when i get it.

and about the fluid, dealer sold the car new and it was traded in on 06 vert. supposedly the guy was a fanatic with his cars. i know he said it has amsoil fluids in it and im sure they have been changed at least once.

and ill be sure and visit the z16.org.

dustin.
