Progress is being made on the I-4 crash repair at Tim Burke's Corvette! It will be three weeks tomorrow since I got hit on I-4. Tim's guys have taken all the damaged parts off and will soon begin to replace with new stuff! A couple pics of the progress!
Looks cool...how many people get to see their car innards looking down?

Reason: Pictures came up!
What an unbelievably great attitude! What do you do? Meditate? Zoloft? Booze? Whatever it is, I need to take lessons or get some from you.
Thanks for asking! I just realize that a few things in life are completely out of my control. With that in mind I went to Tim knowing from my forum friends that he is the best in the business and knowing my car will be better than new when he finishes with it!! It is not fun being without my car this time of year when the weather is so good, but there are better days ahead!!
Were the frame rails OK or did they have to be straightened?
The left frame rail was 1/4" higher than it should be so it will have to be straightened before the end beam is welded on. No problems with the front so the front beam was welded on, painted and looks excellent!!
Front repair....note new end beam and new styrofoam cushion...

Glad they are making some progress. Hope you get back into the car soon. Are you going with any new things on the car like fascias, etc.? Would be a great time to make a switch.
