I need to replace the rear tires on my C5. I have been looking at these Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 295/35ZR18. Can someone give me feedback on this or any other tire that has good grip on dry and wet pavment.
I can't speak for the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s,but I can tell you that the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWs have incredible wet and dry traction.
They look cool, have a 300AA A treadcount and cost less.
I have BF Goodrich g-force drag radials on the car now. I just bought the car 2000 super charged 548rwhp. I would like to have different tires for the summer.

Firestone Wide Ovals are a good split for both Wet and Dry, but you will get better dry stick with others. The question is exactly how much better and how to quantify it. Anyway, the Firestones are so inexpensive, it is worth giving them a try for kicks. I put them on all fours and I can not see that much differnce from the Goodyears, except in the rain where the Firestones are much better. If money was no object, I would likely go with the SP2s. Darn that money thing.

I have the michelin pilot sport tires , super grip, smoked my clutch first time I used them at the track (didn`t expect that much traction)
There seems to be quite a few bad reviews of the goodyear tires on the internet. I would like to have run flats on the car but the choices are limited.
I have the Michelin run flats and have put about 3k miles on them. They seem to be wearing just fine. I like them, but keep in mind I don't drive in the rain. Even if I was caught out in the rain, I would not be driving like a fool.
