Default Can I have a G90 and G92 Axle?!

I've just taken delivery of a new (to me) vette, a '99. Having checked in the glovebox for the codes the lable is a little worn. Between FE9 and IL3 there are two codes which I think to be 'G's. I think the first one is G?0, looks like G90, the second one is not very clear but looks like G92. I presume not GU2 as that would be two ratios but what does a 3.15 ratio with performance actually mean?

G90 Axle, Rear, 3.15 Ratio
G92 Axle, Rear, Performance Ratio
GU2 Axle, Rear, 2.73 Ratio
GU6 Axle, Rear, 3.42 Ratio

I picked up these codes and assume them to be right.

Yes

You CAN have G90 & G92 together, as a matter of fact whenever G92 is selected as an option, G90 will then also be designated as the actual axle in the car.

You can NOT have G92 and GU6 together.

Your car is obviously an A4

The GU2 is the standard rear and the G90 is the optional "performance" 3.15:1 rear, thus the G92 Performance option designation.

G92 just states that the car was ordered with an optional rear oppossed to the standard 2.73.

G90 actually tells WHAT optional rear was put into he car, G90 = 3.15

The sticker is actually a combination of RPO codes and "build" codes.
