Per Tire Rack Tread Width?
Goodyear eagle f1 gs emt 275/40/18 original equipment tires on rear of my 2000 f.r.c. tread width 10.3". Goodyear eagle f1 supercar 295/35/18 zo6 tires that everyone is switching too 10.2" tread width. One inch less tread width than original equipment. Is this a type o? If not, then would it not be better to go with the 275/40/18 in the NON RUNFLAT version and have more rubber on the road. ALL replys appretiated. Presently have runflats on rear, with L.G. long tubes back to s.l.p. performance exhaust, Halltech stinger air intake, computer tune E.T.C. Breaking loose WAY TO EASY. PLEASE help.

Well, non runflats DO make quite the difference...HOWEVER those numbers are wrong. 275 means roughly 275milimeters while 295 means roughly 295 milimeters.
