I installed Dan's interior insulation kit for the front cabin of my FRC. With the mods and new exhaust I noticed a great deal more heat in the tunnel and in the seats. And I wanted to bring the noise down. Added benefit was that the insulation tightens everything up so there are no squeeks.....
Overall a nice kit, Dan was helpful and the kit was well laid out. Straight forward to install. I work on my car slow so it was about 6-7 hours total.
Now there is no heat in the cabin and sound is down some as well.
I put that same kit in as well, but in the front and back. I noticed a drop in road noise and it is cooler in the summer. It also gives the car a nice "new car" smell. It took me two full days, but I was also installing a new stereo system at the same time. It was easy to put in with just silver duct tape instead of the spray on glue. The pre-cut pieces was a real time saver.
It pays to take ones time doing this mod. And having the pre-cut kit allows the installer to concentrate on exact fitment, but still get it all finished in a reasonable amount of time .
Dan is "Crazy Cowboy" and a very nice guy to deal with. When you order the kit from him ask about his other products. He gives pretty good discounts if you buy more than one item at a time from him. I have his full insulation kit, storage compartment divider, and his black out kits for the lights.
