Planning for a road trip this summer. What plant builds Corvette engines and do they offer tours? Seems like a good addition to another trip to Bowling Green...
St. Catharines ON.
about 20 miles NNW of Niagara Falls.
Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake and Toronto ( 1 hour away) make this a nice roadtrip in the May-Sept period.
Detroit are where the Ls7's are hand built...my guess is that's the plant you want to see. C6r's are built and maintained by Pratt and Miller, in New Hudson Michigan.
Rather than just see a bunch of LS2's being put together i think i'd rather see the car itself take shape in Bowling Green.
Or are you talking about LS7 assembly?
Shane
I'd rather see the cars assembled too - the engine plant was just an afterthought. I toured the BG plant in 1999, but didn't own a Vette at that time.
Seeing the LS2 would actually be more relevant - it is the current version of the LS1 that I own and represents the largest percentage of engines in use. Unless I win the lottery, I probably won't own an LS7 in the foreseeable future anyhow.

Don't worry to much, the tour is worth it, great time! Very impressive.
