Mine's been off the road since Thanksgiving. No garage queen here (21K in 2 years and I work at home.) We've got about 2 inches of snow and 3 inches of salt right now. I hate taking the Suburban out in this crap. It looks like hell and you can't see out the rear window in about 1/8 mile.
All the snow melted here in Indiana and the streets were clean so I took mine out of mothballs, fired it up and drove it last weekend. It had been 6 weeks.
I removed the insurance on mine on November 18, 2005. This the first winter that I have not driven it and I have plenty of rock chips from the cinders on the roads to prove it.
This is my first Corvette and I drove it every chance I got the first two winters. I am thinking about putting the insurance back on it soon, but there is still a bunch of cinders on the roads.
