Default Eng. temp range.

At what temp dose the fan or fans come on. I know with the A/c on the fans are running and the eng. temp holds around 192 to 195, but it seems to get on up the scale with out A/C. What is the temp setting for the fan to come on when the A/C is off...

Fan 1 = ON @ 226, OFF @ 219.
Fan 2 = ON @ 235, OFF @ 227

I think those temps are right, but both fans come on in slow, then in fast at the above temps.

Another thing to note is the lower temp is controlled by the opening point of the thermostat which is closed below somewhere around 195F. The service manual test for the thermostat says it should begin to open at 188F and be fully open at 206F, but in another place in the manual it says it is closed below 195F.

At a steady cruising speed mine stays at 194 consistantly.
I don't run the a/c very often.
