Default Oil fill vent question

Can anybody tell me where I can buy one of those chrome vents that replace the oil filler cap?

ttt, also wanted to ask the people who have them, do they seem to help? I also installed a larger catch can.

I was going to put a set of breathers on my valve covers when I switched my PCV system to the Z06 setup but decided against it. I'd heard that there could be an issue with oil mist coating the inside of the engine bay. Also, I was concerned about the venting affecting the effectiveness of my catch can setup. Here's the setup I was going to run. My catch can works great as it is.

You can order the filters from:

http://www.ls1speed.com/catagory.cfm?catagory=Engine

Go about 3/4's of the way down the page. The smaller one I orederd at the same time when I talked to them on the phone. It's not listed but they carry it - it's just a small K&N.

Unrelated, at the bottom of that same page are replica plastic motors and trannies for mock-up work.

Thanks for the information. If it's counterproductive, I'll pass.

I should say take that with a grain of salt as others here, more experienced and knowledgeable than I, have run them with no apparent issues and to good effect. I tend to see these used in higher-hp, significantly-modded setups where crankcase pressures are raised in FI and high-comp motors.

As usual, YMMV.
