Default stock CD changer probs?!?!??!

The changer has a CD and its plastic holder (the piece thta you put the CD in that slides in the cartridge) stuck in the player portion of the changer. I have it apart and the cartridge out watching it attempt to move the CD 3 times, it times out and shuts down.

Is there a way to manually remove the CD and its holder from the player portion of the changer?? If I put the cartridge back in, it still tries to move the CD 3 times then shuts down.

I have also gently tried to pull the CD and holder out, no way, it is held in I guess by the mechanism

HELP !!! i cant listen to it

thanks

mine did this the other day. it jammed so good the cartridge would not eject. i ended up taking the player out of the trunk. i had to remove 4 screws to do that and unplug the player. then i took out 6 very small screws form the sides of case. then took the top off, it is a snap fit cover. then i from the side opposite the cartride was able to see the cd that got wedged between the disk holder and disk. i then took a small long srcewdriver and basicly shoved it back toward the cd cartridge untill it went. i didnt really car about the disk. i wanted my changer to work. then before i put it back together i pluged it in to the large cord and it worked and ejected the cartridge. i did have to take the little bounce rubber holders out of the cradle so i could move the cradle enought to see and get the long screwdriver in there to push the cd/case over enough. be very carefull, take your time and dont rip/ break any of the connectors for electricity and you will be able to get this jammed cd out. you will feel as though you are going to break something when you are pushing this over. just make sure you are pushing from the opposite side towrds the cartridge. push the little black case the cd goes in. the cd and it have wedged themselves in their. mine happened when changing disks at the same time i was gettin in the throttle. christmas eve while going home. good luck. BE CAREFULL WITH ALL OTHER PARTS!!!!!!!!

look at it when it tries to cycle. it should move slightly. the part that is stuck will need a very gentle push to get back in correct motion. VERY GENTLE PUSH!!!!! keep looking at the parts that move till you get it. there will be little arms that have stoppers on them. mine took awhile but finally worked. dont get upset with it cause if your like me, it wont be a gentle push after awhile of this frustration. hey notice you are in dfw. my mother in law flew in today from san antonio via dfw.

Default It's busted

Mine did the same thing, I got the CD out by taking it apart. I put it back together and it did it all over again. I sent it to be repaired by a authorized pioneer place. I'll let you know if I ever get it back. I bought a used one to hold me until I get mine back. It has been a month gone by now so I'm glad I bought a spare.
