One nag I have about corrvettes in general is the cheap leather Chevy uses. All the C5's I have looked at whether it was 15K or 55K have cracks in it. I went to leatherseats.com and they make a kit for both the standard and sport seats. I have used this company on 3 of my Stealth/3000GT's and love the look. I was wondering if anyone else had this installed.
Right on thanks my friend. I can't seem to get Photobucket to work with me this morning and assumed it was down. Guess its me, but yeah that was the plan I have my heart on a Mill. Yellow 00-01 but thinking silver and the same colors I used on my VR4 would just be stunning. I love that interior.
My son has an 02 Camaro and he just put Katskin leather in his car and it is beautiful-You might want to get the gathered look. I the the middle of the seat the leather is all bunched up and the rest is slick. It looks really good.

Can't help you on the Katskins. If you want the best and are prepared to pay for it, Vette Essentials is it, hands down. You can see their stuff at www.vetteessentials.com
That place is amazing but not sure I want to pay $5K for interior. you figure its roughly $4K for everything and another $700 to install. For $1K I'll use the Katskinz and be happy. Glad to see there are other options out there though.
I was going to put it in the vette to Come on now, its a Mitsu, that would be like having a corvette emblem embroidered would like nice if it were tastful.

They are amazing. Anyway, here are another couple of options that folks on the forum have used with success for new seat leathers. Fewer options and no customization as compared to Vette Essentials but at a lower cost as well. As for the install, do it yourself. It's not that hard and many here have done their own.
