I bought mine about 3 months ago and I really like how tight and precise the feel is. I have the springs from the factory. Just a couple of FYIs.
The picture below shows the stops so that you dont over shift however, the C5 has internal stops built in. I forgot the remove these stops from the hurst, and I barely read the directions which state that if you leave them in, make sure they are tight and add a drop of LocTite to the threads. Reason being that the stops loosen up and screw themselves into the shifter area, preventing you from shifting into the gears. The front stop prevents 1-3-5-R and the rear stop would prevent 2-4-6 from ebing engaged. I just removed mine. Problem solved! I would know cuz this happened to me and I freaked out! These forum guys saved me! Easy fix but i had to take apart the center console again!
Also, be sure you read the directions well so that everything goes smooth as silk! They give you some pointers that some of these online install guides don't. The hardest part is is getting the stupid demon key out so you can remove the shift **** and shift boot!
