I have Mclouds that i no longer need, brandnew and paid 185 and added 3 bolt flanges. Nothing is welded or anything and I even have the AH switch plate with the button installed already. I went with a custom tip setup and no mufllers so dont need them.

Got them from another member awhile ago and will do $225 shipped for everything.

Where are they usually installed? This seems like a great idea. Any user feedback?

I know Patches is running elec. cutouts and a few other guys. Search and at least 4 or 5 post will pop up.

Brian

SOunds great wide open but since I have done this custom exhaust I have no need for them. My only possible problem is the police with noise but I can throw my stingers back on w/4 bolts easy. I don't have a problem with inspections either, just a PITA more than anything else. Most guys have them dump by the trans.

Very sano install! I watched the video on the link above and don't understand how the exhaust gases for open and closed both exit through the mufflers? Am I seeing things?

I only have experience with the Quick Time Performance (QTP) cutouts and found them to be of good quality. They are a forum vendor and you can find them down the left column of this page under "HEADERS"...

^ I love that... so doess SW market and sell that now? That's by far the best install and setup of a cutout system yet.

That is a custom setup. It is their 3" dual tip exhaust system which I suggested a quad tip branched off right before the muffler which contained the cutout. I had them polish the system as well. I show my car and it looks great with a door mirror angled under the car...

Kudos to Stainless Works and thanks for the compliments...

Default E.T. gain in 1/4 mile?

>When using the open exhaust any idea of possible gains in 1/4? mile?

>Can you use the stock tune and get a gain safely? Will it throw a code?

>Crazy question - To drag race the car could just unbolt the mufflers? This would give you open exhaust and save some pounds correct? Would take a little time to remove but would be a free mod What do the stock mufflers weight?
