Default Very quick Donaldson Blackwing question..............

Will a Donaldson Blackwing off a 2004 Z06, fit my '99 C5?

I believe I read somewhere that there is an air tube or outlet or something on the filter assembly that would make this not backward compatible to my car.

Thanks!

A black Wing made of a C5 Will fit any model year from 97 Thur 04. You might need a different coupler for yours, I think model 03 and 04 are different for previous years.

The Blackwing is fine on all model years. The '01-'04's require a coupler to fit, the earlier models do not require this.

Actually, scratch my advice. The Blackwing on an '01 to '04 needs the coupler, you will just need to not use the one that will come from an '04

with Paul. You will be fine with the BW out of 04. You will not be requiring the coupler to make it work on your 99
