do you have an auto or manual because that will make a difference on what you get.

Also do you have headers?

I believe to get the most out of a H/C package you will need to put headers on.

texas speed has some pretty good prices. IF you're not going with headers, i'd stay with a fairly small cam.

Check their Cheater cam and PRC 2.5 R heads. Talk to Jason... He'll hook you up.

Is this a good match for my car and what are you asking for all of it ?
When you say 5.3--does that its for a 5.3 motor ? Please forgive me I am a beginner at this stuff.

You have already done the intake, a set of LT headers will let the car
breath reaping you much better results from your performance mods. Your
throwing money away if you install h/c and don't do headers!!

Gary, call Andy, 21st Century Muscle Cars' head tuner (a Forum sponser), and talk with him about your desire to do H/C with out headers. He's done a package like you want that has good power.

Good luck.

How does you car idle and do you have to let it warm up before you start driving it?

I have GM Performance Parts CNC Ported/polished heads with a 228/228 .590/.590 112lsa cam and a few other mods. The car just put down 450RWHP and the driveability is great. You are wasting your time if you don't do headers at the same time.

Haha, thanks, I was asking the person who had done heads & cam if he could drive his car right away. I thought it might be important for you to know that some heads&cam cars require a warm up period (at least that's what I've heard here)

If you have h/c with dual valve springs, you can drive at anytime after startup, but do not go WOT until you hit normal operating temps or else your valve springs will break. They are brittle when cold.
