Some of you may remember many years ago Eckler's carried a fibergalss option that looked like a station wagon. They discontinued it due to old molds and lack of sales. I for one always wanted to do one and almost did to a '76 I had. Now I'm customizing my '98 and the thought crossed my mind again. Maybe a custom wagon hatch would work here. I own a Magnum and love the look of the rear end so I was thinking of creating that look on my C5. Have any of you seen this done or know of someone that has? I'm going to moch up something to get a better feel for the look.

You haven't been around c5 gen very long have you? They'll tear you a new one for a wing, let alone turning a sports car into a station waggon.
I'm just not even going to comment on this on.
The 6 foot wings made the tuner cars a joke, now you want to do the same thing to the Vette. Don't make the rest of us look like clowns. Go buy a wagon if you need one.

I personally enjoy "long roofs". The T/A concept was done by Year One and another company and it looked gorgeous. The long roof Corvettes I have seen do not look right, but that just means it hasn't been done right yet. The yellow one in the picture could work the right way, but I would do scale models and lots of renderings before I hacked into my Corvette. Why don't you just buy my '57 Nomad and use the Paul Newman conversion to put your C5 drivetrain and suspension under it? The best of all worlds.

I like your responces. If anyone knows where the yellow Z06 conversion came from link me to it please. The side windows are larger than I have in mind and the roof line could slope down more at the tail but the look isn't so bad afterall.

He's not asking for opinions. He wants to know where he can get it, or if you've seen it done.
my plan is to locate a rear window lid from a wreck. Then modify that and save the original piece. I now need to find glass and a body shop that can make it work.
