Default This weeks build sequence...

Hey guys, I am very excited because my car is slated for production sometime in the next 5 business days.. TPW 8/6, SEQ#03986. :D

Has anyone been following the unit/per day tally and where do I stand on exactly what day it should be hitting the trim line?

THANKS

Phil,

I've been making some crude calculations based on anecdotal evidence of people who have visited the plant recently and on TPWs and sequence numbers from this forum. The plant has been working 10 hour days, producing about 150 cars per day on Mon-Thur and 8 hours on Friday making 130 cars.

I'm not familiar with the details of trim line in the process, but my numbers say that car 3986 will be "built" on 8/8. I also am unsure whether the sequence number relates to the day the car starts on the line, or the day it is complete.

Jerboa,

Thanks for the response! I originally had a hunch that it could be the middle of the week when it was built, but wasn't sure if production numbers per day had changed. THANKS AGAIN

Phil,

I used the sequence numbers posted by Corvette Cananda as a baseline. He presented one week of daily starting sequence numbers and number of cars built that day. It seems to indicate that the cars were completed on those days. This gave me an initial curve. I then mapped on known sequence numbers and TPWs from forum members and reports from people who were at the plant to see their cars. My numbers weren't matching until I added the increased daily production rates. I could easily be off by a day or two.

Phil .. I've been thinking about you, buddy. Last I heard, I'm still one week behind you, and I've been using you as kind of a barometer for the overall timeline. I've also got your build pegged for about the middle of this week. Hang in there.
