Heads/cam project complete, turned key...........
Oil pressure came right up, lifters chattered a little at first then settled down. No smoke, strange noises, or anything out of the ordinary. Holy ****. Really nice lope to it with the 112 LSA. Bigger cam? I don't think so, I think I got it right.
Or should I say a few sets. I can roast the tires at will, no brake stands necessary. Just hit it, and I don't even mean to the floor. I don't know how I could even hook up with 3.73's. I think I'll just stay with my 2.73's, enjoy the mileage and less abuse on the engine. The whole hood shakes, the car shakes,
talk about "seat of the pants". Oh yeah, the wife is gonna bitch, but WTH, it's worth it.Overall, I'm really, really happy with it. It's going to be a good summer.
