Default Z 06 Grilles

What is the best source for Z 06 front grilles? I have read a number of threads that indicate there are some pretty cheap imitations out there on the market.

Anyone purchase any really nice ones for a good price?

Thanks.

Corvettes of Houston sells a decent set that come with double back tape for less than 90 bucks. Or you can buy a gm orginal from one of the supporting vendors as well.

Don't bother with the knock offs. Get the real thing from chevy. Quality can't be beat.

Try the vetteshop.cc (link below). The screen kits they sell are made of stainless steel and very high quality. I had a set from midamerica and they were galvanized. The screens started to rust and they wouldnt do anything about it. I think that was the last thing I bought from them too.

I have the ones from COH and am very happy with them. I used velcro instead of the tape, which I recommend.

I just purchased two sets from a company called Mr. Grille. They are for my 99. Two large ones where the fogs lights are and two for where the air intakes are for the front brakes. They are billet alum. The kit comes with all the grilles plus twelve brackets and screws. I did email the company today because they did short me the brackets and screws to install the small grilles. The total cost for the complete set was $115.00 including shipping. Here are two pictures of the grilles.

I'm in the market too. Just saw that Ecklers has stainless, Chrome, and Black. Might want to look at them too.

Default Install

It wasn't to bad. Took about hour and half. The hardest thing was to hold them and at the same time put a piece of tape down. The instructions said to hold grills in place and put a piece of tape down. After you put the tape down you measure 5/16 in and install the bracket. The brackets are taped down. Once you put the brackets down you hold the grille back in place and mark the holes remove the grills and drill the brackets.
