Will be getting new tires for the vette and am wondering if there is a certain tire mounting machine I should ask about. Plus any other advice.
Thanks.
Mike
You want one designed for use with alloy wheels . Even more important is a good balance.
Find a shop with a Hunter Road Force balancer.

Chances are if the shop has one of these, they will have the right equipment to mount on your alloy wheels.

If your shop has the Hunter Road Force, chances are they might have the Hunter TC3500....
I've seen this bad boy in action at Discount Tire Direct's office in Scottsdale and there is no way it could harm the wheel unless the technician dropped it.

A lot of the high end wheel vendors (HRE, Fikse, etc) will actually have a recommended wheel mounting service in your area. 9 times out of ten it will be a shop with Hunter equipment!! JMHO
