Default Squeaking Suspension

I have a squeaking noise coming from the suspension. It does it on every little bump in the road. It sounds like some piece of crap when I drive. Quite embarrasing.

You might try lubricating the sway bar bushings. Real easy to do.
Put the front end up on Rhino ramps. Slide under the car, and unbolt the clamp holding the bushings in place. Pop the bushing off, relubricate, and reintall the clamps and bolts. Torque to spec.

Should fix the problem.

Many thanks. What are the torque specs? What should I use for a lube?

Lubricate the links. Lithium greas is your friend.

The front brackets are torqued to 43 ft-lbs.

The rear upper bolt is torqued to 49 ft-lbs.
The rear lower bolt is torqued to 70 ft-lbs.

The endlinks are torqued to 53 ft-lbs.

There are alot of lubricants used. I used Amsoil's synthetic lithium grease...(Non-petroleum based). Some have said petroleum based greases will break down the rubber in the bushings. The silicon dielectric grease has also been recommended.

Good luck.
