I love both cars for different reasons, the Z06 for the bringing back the hardtop in style and I like the lines of the new C6 and the performance on the base models is just about the same as the Z

Well first of all, I have yet to sit in a C6 but in the pic you look about 8 feet tall... so I'd say, NEITHER, you need a VERT for the headroom!! I'm 6'2" in my bare feet and I've read where the C6's are shorter and less headroom, etc... If your taller than I am and you sure look it, I'd let that be my first consideration...

I'd get a 2004 Z06 with the Z16 package - love the looks. Otherwise, probably go with the C6.

I went with the C6. You've had the Z, try something different. It's still a Vette and I believe that they have made some refinements in the new model. I'm also supportive of "buy the newest you can", you'll have more warranty available with the C6 as well. Lastly, I'm also a fan of the removable rood and the Z just won't have that. You start out with some pretty good ponies with the C6 and with a few bolt on's I believe you'd be happy with the sound and the performance.
