I gave up on fancy valve stem caps years ago. My luck the nit-wits will try using pliars when they can't get them off the convential way and I will end up with busted valve stems and flat tires.
The cheaper alternative is to simply tighten down your chromies with a wrench. Then those little buggers who try to steal them won't be able to remove them with their fingers.

I wish I had a dollar for every one I've had stolen over the years...

Here's a couple pics!!
Have seen simialar caps like these around and like them
Only looking for them with the "50 and Cross Flags" 50th Anniversary logo.
Don't think anyone has ever made them that way or ever will though.
One way to look at it though. If they find out they cant get the chromies off they might get pissed and mess up your car. Like key it or slash the tires or something.,

Be careful not to over tighten or you’ll mess up your valves.
Just take a look to see if the neighborhood kids have your nice chromies on their huffy....
Well the police officer accross the street.. said that I wasn't the only one who had them stolen, he had them stolen off his car and a couple other neighbors he started questioning his kids and a few of the neighbor hood kids.. found that a group of them were stealing them for fun and he went to the parents house and they found a whole big bag of them LoL..
well i havent lost any yet on my C5 but for some reason ive had the plain jain ones stolen off my neon...maybe cause its outside always and they just take whatever they wanted....plus i actually had all four taken off my patrol car one night....i didnt notice it till i went to the shop for repairs and they noted all four were gone. and of course they too were plain black plastic caps...hm.....morons.
