2003 door panel removal
Does anybody know how to take off the door panel?? I am having trouble with my driver side door lock. The FOB unlocks the door but will not lock it. The door unlock button will unlock both doors but will not lock the driver side. so I figure it must be the module that has something wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance to all

Good luck!, http://www.vetteessentials.com/. He has the steps to remove the panels and they are very straight forward.
When prying the panels off, I would recommend not using tools of you can avoid it to reduce the chance of scratching.

They have excellent write-ups of various interior pieces to be removed.

It's the relay on the door module board. Choices:
1) De-solder out the old one, and solder in a new relay. $1.30 each relay + shipping and handling (Digikey.com). See link below for part numbers and entire thread on the issue:

(You might as well order 4 relays, and do both relays on the driver's door, saving the other two for the passenger door. Replace the relay closest to the edge of the board, and the one right above it.)
2) Contact Gene at www.geneskarshop.com. About a week ago he quoted me $75 for a pair of used door control modules for my '01.
3) Take it to the stealership for diagnosis $96
4) Buy a new module for $278 from the stealership.
5) Have the stealership do the swap. $600 - $700.
I went for number 1, which was quite easy, except that I struggled at the de-soldering the old ones off, the satisfaction of doing it without getting ripped off at the stealership....... priceless!
