Differential Strut
As I recall, it took me most of the first night (probably about 4 hours - but I may have been a little slow and cautious) to remove the rear suspension assembly. One the rear suspension is removed, then you can lower the driveline - if you are not swapping the rear carrier or T/C, this will go quick - just a matter of letting your jack down in order so you can access the tranny.
I'd say probably about 5 hours from your start time until you are ready to install the brace. Then maybe 2 hours to install and correctly tension the brace. Once the brace is installed and tensioned, it's simply a matter of putting things back together. Putting it back together went real quick (again I did it over a couple evenings) but I'd say 3 - 4 hours to reassemble. Again, I took my time and was overly cautious when doing things.
I did it over the course of a week, and did other mods as per above, so it took me a little longer. I'd HIGHLY recommend printing this link
http://www.cajundude.com/differential.htm
- it was like a bible to me - I followed it exactly until it got time to install the DTE Brace, then I followed the DTE instructions - but that link was EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!
As a note, the above link says be sure to remove the brake lines and wires from the clips on the rear suspension - NOTE: there TWO brake line clips and TWO electrical wire clips PER SIDE on the rear suspension that must be loosened.
Let me know if you have specific questions when you tackle it. It's not bad, looking back, I'd do it again w/o a doubt.
