Help with code

I have been receiving this code

--->B2607 Seat Horizontal Position Sensor Failure and my memory seat has been going crazy lately. What exactly with fix this problem? BTW I dont have any other codes except the above.

. What does it take to disable memory seats and not cause the car to go into convultions because something is disconnected? Thanks in advance.

the potentiometer is probably bad,but it won't hurt to look at the plug on the fore/aft motor[poteniometer is built into the motor].if all is ok,you probably need a seat motor.

Thanks for the reply. How much is a seat motor and what is the part #?
