Congratulations on your new ride! I don't want to rain on your parade, but my coupe is a 2002 with 4,800 miles on it and I was only offered $26,000 for it on a trade in. I'd say you got a good deal, but not a great deal.

Since when do they give you what you want on a trade in? I'd say, um, never. I think the dude got a sweet deal! It was very nice for the previous owner to take the hit for him so he could have a brand new car. Congrats!
