Default Invisicord Install

Has anyone installed the Invisicord on a 2004 Z06? I'm having a little trouble getting the leads to stay affixed inside the back of the wiring harness that goes into the rear view mirror. I got the radar detector (Valentine) to work with the Invisicord hookup, so I know everything electrical is fine, I just can't get the leads to stay in place in the back of the harness.

I think this is a great product and very much want to get it installed, and prefer not to run any wires or hard wire it to the fuse box as I know others have done. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply but I was already up to speed with all the instructions and hints - this Forum (and the other Z06 forum) are the first places I searched. The issue was the length of the leads themselves and only having a little bit of lead to snap into the ports that hold the stock wires in the back of the rear view mirror harness. Since my post I was able to get them in enough to hold them in place. I also corresponded with Cary of Invisicord who was very helpful and responsive and will send me another cord with longer prongs if mine doesn't hold. I would still recommend the product and the customer service is very good.

With that kind of customer support it sounds like you found the right place and have a little more work to do. Good luck.
