Default question about lt install

I am just about finished with my LG lt's but have a question. They gave me two short extensions for the o2's, they do not extend the front ones long enough to work, the pieces go from flat to square and are about 3" or so, do I use simms on the front ones and use the rear o2 only? This is a off road setup w/o cats. Any help would be great.

Thanks

The extensions, I believe are different depending on what year car you have. But, basically the extension is used to connect the sensors that were mounted in the rear location to the Front O2 sensor wires coming from the engine compartment.

The extensions look like the front o2's can be converted to fit the sims harness, does this mean I can connect the rear o2 into the bungs? basically using the sims on the fronts and using the rears to read?

What you are to do is take out the rear o2 on the stock exhaust. Use the these 2 o2 sensors and put them into the headers on the lg kit. Take your 2 from the front of the stock exhaust and plug the holes in the middle section of the lg kit. Plug the front 2 o2 into the front o2 plugs. You put the o2 sims into the rear o2 plugs. So inessential the rear o2 plugs get the 02 sims. You always need the front 2 sensors to be reading a tune a/f mixture since they are closest to the motor. HTH.

That was what I thought, I finished everything up and it sounds great! Now all I need is to get the tune done.

Thanks for all the help.
